FAQ
I’m having trouble finding Blanton’s. Where can I get it?
Despite an increase in distillation over the past few years, demand for Blanton’s is outpacing supply. We are making more bourbon every day. While we wait, there may be times when bottles of Blanton’s Single Barrel are missing from store shelves. We kindly ask our fans to remember, aging good bourbon takes time, and we’re doing our best to keep up. Due to existing law, we cannot sell Blanton’s directly to consumers.

Is the dump date the same as when it is bottled?
Not necessarily. The dump date is the day the bourbon leaves the barrel. We write this day on the label because this is the day the bourbon stops barrel aging. Once the barrel is dumped (which could be one or two days before it is bottled) the bourbon is filtered, proofed, and held until it comes time to bottle.
What days does the distillery dump barrels for Blanton’s Single Barrel?
Generally, the distillery dumps barrels for Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon Monday through Friday.
Can you help me find a particular dump date?
At this point we can’t trace where specific dates end up in stores. When bottles are shipped to our distribution partners across the country we have no way of tracking which stores they sell specific bottles to.
Are there two different “N’s” to collect?
There are indeed two different n's to collect. In addition to the horses being different, the latter n is followed by a very subtle colon. It looks like "N:" Happy Collecting!
Do the 50ml stoppers have letters on them?
The 50ml stoppers do not have any letters on them. However, we also offer a 375ml size of Blanton’s. For this we use the same stoppers as the larger 750ml size.
What is the rarest letter to find?
All the letters are produced in equal amounts. However, because Blanton’s is bottled by hand they are placed on the bottle at random. This is why it seems as if some letters are harder to find.
What is my old bottle of Blanton’s worth?
It may be worth more than a recently produced bottle. However, because we are not bourbon appraisers we cannot say for certain.
